Gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi said on Friday that he would make job creation and the empowerment of youths one of the cardinal policies of his administration while consolidating on the good works of Governor Sullivan Chime.

This came as the State chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) formally endorsed him for the February 28 governorship election in the state.

The party said its choice of Ugwuanyi is predicated upon his track road of performance, expressing confidence that with Ugwuanyi as the next governor of Enugu state, there will be a secured future for the people of the state.

Addressing newsmen at the state party office, yesterday, APGA state chairman, Chief Okechukwu Nkolagu, said it would have been an effort in futility if APGA had fielded any other candidate to run for the party if not Ugwuanyi.

But speaking during a campaign rally at Awgu, the PDP candidate noted that Governor Chime had set a template for good governance that would be impossible  to deviate from.
