CEOAFRICA sports desk gathered that the Nigerian male basketball team, D’Tigers are pulling up  good display at the ongoing Afrobasket Championship in Abidjan, the capital of Cote D’ Ivoire, as they cruised to the quarterfinals of the tourney.

The Nigerian slams and dunks team defeated Central African Republic to move into the quarterfinals where they will meet Senegal.

The Coach Ayo Bakare tutored side had earlier defeated Mali, Cameroun and Democratic Republic of Congo to top group D ahead of second placed Cameroun.
