Draws for this year’s FIFA under 17 World Cup billed for United Arab Emirates has been conducted with African representatives knowing their opponents in group phase.

The tournament would hold between October 17-November 8.African Under-17 champions Ivory Coast, runner-up and three-time world Under-17 champions Nigeria, Tunisia and Morocco would represent Africa at the tournament.

Six groups of four teams each was drawn with best two in each group guaranteed the second-round slots, while the remaining four slots would be given to best four loosers from the groups.

Group A: UAE (Host), Brazil, Honduras, Slovakia

Group B: New Zealand, Uruguay, Cote d’Ivoire, Italy

Group C: Uzbekistan, Panama, Morocco, Croatia

Group D: Japan, Venezuela, Tunisia, Russia

Group E: Iran, Argentina, Canada, Austria

Group F: Iraq, Mexico (Defending Champion), Nigeria, Sweden
