Tuesday, 11 May 2021: The family of Prof. Isaac Olawale Albert has announced the funeral rites of their matriarch, mother, and grandmother, Madam Comfort Olayemi Albert-Ogunkeye.

She would be buried on Saturday May 22nd, 2021 after a funeral service at the Methodist Cathedral Otapete, Ilesa, Osun State.

Mama Ogunkeye passed away on March 23, 2021 at the ripe age of 91.

Late Comfort Olayemi Albert Ogunkeye was survived by three children; among them is Prof. Albert, a renowned Professor of African History, Peace and Conflict Studies and pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies, University of Ibadan.
