The Release of Stars: Chrisland University celebrates 2nd Convocation in grand style (Photos)

Marking its 2nd convocation ceremony in grand style, Chrisland University has undoubtedly held its ground as one of the most outstanding higher institution of learning in Nigeria.

The convocation ceremony which witnessed the release of twenty eight (28) graduates with outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average from different departments which cut across the colleges of Natural and applied sciences, Art, Management and Social sciences also featured among other activities the award presentation to deserving graduants of the institute.

The institution produced five First Class graduates, all females, among them is the recipient of the awards for the overall best graduating student, Miss Folashade Kikelomo Mary from the department of Biochemistry who scored a record breaking Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.80, Ukpor Hannah- Business Administration-4.77; Odebode Osinowo Esther-Microbiology-4.73; Adaga Ene Theresa- Business Administration-4.55 and Soetan Olufunke – Microbiology-4.54

Other graduates includes Ehanholo Stella Akhere-Accounting; Yusuf Rilwan Babatunde- Business Administration; from the department of Criminology and Security Studies, Amali Zainab Nana; Odusanya Olayide Stephanie; Adeyemi Oluwanifemi Moromoke; and Idris Mustapha Muhammed. From the department of Political Science we have, Akindele Boluwatife Juwon; Ikwueme Ogechukwu Alfreda; Kehinde Oladapo Ayoola and Ulinfun Ruth Oseremen.

From the department of Computer Science, Abati Ifeoluwa Halimat; Alabi Temitope Sweetheart; Isitua Ifeanyi Joshua; Lawal Nurudeen Olakunle and Makinde Emmanuel Ayodele. From the department of Microbiology are Aiyegoro Anjolaoluwa Anastasia; Anthony Annabel Chinedu and Soetan Olufunke Omodele.

Others are Adeosun Olantundun Olatomiwa and Akindele Oluwasogo Rotimi from Economics department, Ikemefuna Jemima Evi-Chidinma- Psychology and Odunsi Oluwamayowa Samuel- Biochemistry.

The event was grace with the presence of dignitaries in the society among whom are; the former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; the executive governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, ably represented by the state Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Angbagbu; Ogun state governor’s wife, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, the Alake of Egbeland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo;

Others are, the Chancellor and Chairman, Board of Trustee- Chrisland University, High Chief Dr.(Mrs.) Winifred A. Awosika; the Pro-Chancellor, Distinguished Prof. Ayodeji Olukoju, Vice Chancellor  Chrisland University, Prof.(Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola; Commissioner Human Resources Science and Technology, African Union, Prof. (Mrs.) Sarah Anyang Agbor ; the Registrar, Chrisland University, Mr  David A. Olowola, the Director of AU Human Resources, Science and Technology, Dr Mahama Ouedraogo; Mr Samuel Adesualoro; Policy Officer for Education, Olabode Stephens, Chancellors and Vice Chancellors from other universities,  Lecturers, others.
