Chief Mrs Nana Okuribido to deliver lecture at African Women in Business Webinar

President, Women in Renewable Energy who also doubles as Chairperson, Women in Sustainable Power Africa Network (WISPA-Net), Chief Mrs Nana Okuribido, would on 7th November 2020 (today), deliver a lecture at the African Women Webinar organized by Hands of Hope for Africa.

Chief Nana Okuribido who is popularly known as ‘Mama Renewable Energy’ for her passionate zeal towards championing the cause of renewable energy in Nigeria, has her core drive as the empowerment of rural homesteads, agricultural development and sustainability.

She has previously held the position of Secretary General in CREN for several years and has garnered enviable knowledge and expertise of the global and national renewable energy sector.

The Guest Speaker, who is a dynamic and ever pragmatic leader, is also the National Coordinator, Association of Nigerian Women’s Business Network (ANWBN) and the immediate past President of Council for Renewable Energy.

Chief Mrs Nana Okuribido is expected to speak on the topic: “African Women in Business: Challenges and Opportunities of COVID-19.”

On her part, she expressed her appreciation to the organizers of the event for inviting her as the guest speaker at the forthcoming African Women in Business Webinar, adding that it is a great privilege to discuss a very great and germane issue in the time of post COVID-19.

“I feel very privileged and excited to speak at the African Women in Business Webinar,” she added.

The webinar is to take place on Zoom application at exactly 1:00PM South Africa Standard time, while 2:00PM West Africa Time.
