While Nigerians have taken to their social media accounts to air their view on the just dissolved sars, famous Nigerian actor, Anthony Womano Ogbetere says that SARS in the south and not the entire country, are the problem.

In his words, “SARS existed nationwide but the ones in the south were the bad eggs except we want to deceive ourselves’.

He said this while narrating an incident that occurred to him in Lagos where he was stopped alongside his producer friend by police officers who found fake gun props in their booth.

The Igbo officer going by his name tag upon recognizing him as an actor and communicating with him in Igbo demanded a huge amount of money from him while he begged to be released.

Meanwhile,an Hausa officer going by his name tag upon communicating with him in Hausa asked them to go.

He goes on to say that southern officers prey on their fellow southerners with impunity and reckless abandon.

They pack vehicles, search the phones of young men and look for yahoo boys to extort’

He added that; “it is beyond SARS,the entire police needs some cleansing”.
