Photo News: AIG Makama Celebrates Pullout Ceremony, Unveiling in Grand Style

The Assistant Inspector General of Police representing Zone XI, AIG Bashir Makama Dapubpsc (Rtd) celebrated his pullout ceremony from the Nigeria Police Force.

The event which was held on the 25thof September 2020 at BMO Event Center, Abuja was accomplished with the unveiling of an autobiography titled “For my country” and an audio-visual documentary tagged "Celebrating A Gallant Officer-The Pride of Africa."

The pull out ceremony, was graced by top ranked police officers including the new Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG Adeleye Oyebade, Royal fathers, retired police officers, among others.

During the unveiling session of the event, the principal unveiler, Sir. Kessington Adebunkunola Adebutu, the Odole Oodua congratulated AIG Makama on his pulling out from service and for contributing immensely to the Nigerian Police Force. He prayed for success and long life as he retired from service.

The Chairman of the occasion, Aare Adetona Emmanuel-King, in his goodwill message heartily felicitated with AIG Makama on his successful and meritorious completion of service years in the Police Force and unveiling of the twin project.

He extends his best wishes as AIG Makama leaves a lasting legacy for posterity.

“I very much admire your humility as a brother and a good friend, also your prowess in combination crime in this country," he said.

Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammad Adamu who was represented by DIG Adeleye Oyebade, said “this ceremony is an opportunity to bid farewell to our brother who has had a distinguished service." He added by urging other junior officers to emulate the exemplary life of the retired AIG.

In his congratulatory message, the IGP assured the celebrant of a continued support, noting that AIG Makama is a well respected and gallant police officer while he was in service.

He said “You have not been retired because you are not yet tired. You are somebody we cannot forget and we have a way of bringing you back to the force one way or the other”.

Some of the dignitaries present include Inspector General of Police Sir Kessignton Adebutu, the Odole of Oodua, the Inspector General of Police, represented by DIG Adeleye Oyebade, Prof. Jesse Otegbayo, the Chief Medical Director, University College Hospital UCH Ibadan, Alhaji Mutiullah Abdulazeez Oladejo, the Asiwaju Adini of Ibadanland, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-king, Group Managing Director/CEO Adron Homes and Properties, among other prominent Nigerians.
