Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has appealed with all members of the All Progressives Congress to work for the success of the APC in the governorship election.

Akeredolu, who became the candidate of the party in the last primary election where he defeated nine other aspirants, begged the members to do away with striving but should rather unite for the purpose of the party’s victory in the election.

The governor made the appeal during a reconciliation meeting with stakeholders, held at Heritage Hotel, Akure, in Abuja on Sunday witnessing the presence of chieftains of the party such as Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chief Olusola Oke, Dr. Segun Abraham, Mr. Isaacs Kekemeke, Chief Bode Summonu, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, and Tayo Oluwatuyi among others.

The governor who lamented the disunity in the party said this has denied the party of many advantages, such as the poor displays in the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly Elections adding that this is not the appropriate time to apportion blames, as all members have a responsibility to make things work better and ensure unity in our party, going forward,

The governor has, therefore, enjoined its party members to put on the armor of forgiveness for the purpose of achieving resounding success in the party on October 10, 2020, Gubernatorial Election and also at the state, local, state, and federal level.
