Eid-Il-Kabir: Chief Imam of Ibadan charges Muslims to pray for God to end COVID-19

The Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Alhaji Abdulgany Abubakar Agbotomokekere has urged Muslims to intensify their prayers to end the ravaging COVID-19.

He said this at the Ibadan Prayer Ground, Agodi, as Muslim faithful gathered to observe the 1441(2020) Eid-Il-Kabir prayer.

In his sermon, he charged Muslims to be obedient and be generous to mankind, noting that every individual would give account of his daily dealings.

The Cleric stressed the need for Nigerians to observe precautionary measures to contain the spread of the virus.

On the other hand, the Asiwaju Adini of Ibadan land, Alhaji Mutiullah AbdulAzeez Oladejo popularly known as Onimalu, while speaking with CEOAFRICA,enjoined Muslims to follow the footsteps of Prophet Ibrahim, by committing themselves to his injunctions such as peace, tolerance, charity and generosity to the less priviledge.
