First Bank of Nigeria Limited declares the appointment of Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru as Executive Director, to steer the corporate banking business of First bank.

CEOAFRICA news desk have it that the new appointment was in line with the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) aimed at enriching the capacity of the executive management and board by deepening specialisation and strengthening the corporate governance culture.

Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru, a chartered accountant and seasoned banker was until his new appointment, the Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, and has come on board banking system with his varied skills and well-rounded work experience in both public and private sectors.

The First Bank’ GMB/CEO, Bisi Onasanya expressed his gratitude in the appointment, stating that his presence in the system is a typify value anchored on dependability, entrepreneurship, integrity, resilience, dynamism, and service excellence, stressing that there is no doubt that the expected impact will be felt in his new responsibility.
