Nigeria Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has tested negative for coronavirus (COVID 19).

Osinbajo has been in self-isolation as a precaution against the disease.

The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Osinbajo, Laolu Akande, on Tuesday revealed that the Vice President was in self-isolation.

Akande shared a picture of Osinbajo having a meeting via video conference call and said the VP is self-isolating in accordance with the “protocols” of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

So far, there are 46 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Two have been discharged and one death has been recorded.
