Community policing: Southeast govs in meeting with IG Adamu

All is set for the Southeast Security Summit as governors of the zone are in a crucial meeting with the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu at the Enugu State Government House.
It was learnt that the meeting is to address issues bothering on the implementation of the community policing programme of the Nigeria Police Force before the kick-off of the summit.
The summit which is to hold at the Base Event Centre in Enugu metropolis is tagged “Strategic partnership for effective community policing in the southeast geopolitical zone”.
Our correspondent reports that stakeholders from Ebonyi, Imo, Anambra, Abia and Enugu States have arrived at the Summit Centre waiting for the commencement of the programme.
