Chrisland University undertakes NUC verification of 11 new programmes

Chrisland University, Abeokuta is adding to her feather as the university undertakes another National Universities Commission (NUC) verification of eleven new programmes in the institution.

The eleven programmes under verification for accreditation are programmes from the College of Medicine, Faculty of Law and Nursing.

The programmes include Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Public Health, Anatomy, Physiology, Biotechnology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Statistics and Industrial Mathematics.

Meanwhile, the university has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro, Abeokuta, Ogun State; Holy Trinity Hospital, Lagos State and the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta as part of her efforts to meeting with relevant requirements to run the Medical and Health Science programmes including provision of clinical opportunities for her students.

Also, the university, being in the capable hand of the erudite first female professor of pharmacy from the university of Ibadan, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola as the Vice Chancellor and her management team with staff has been ensuring that Chrisland University be a birthplace for geniuses and future leaders, and working towards meeting to be one of the world class university in the world.

However, in line with this development, students applying to study at Chrisland are hereby informed of the accreditation. The University continues to boast of affordable tuition, excellent student-teacher ratio in the classes and ultra-modern hostel accommodation with state of the art facilities.

It could be recalled that, during the last verification by the NUC, the university had all her nine programmes accredited. The courses are, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, Criminology and Security Studies, Computer Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Business Administration and Psychology.
