The police commissioner has paraded a suspect kidnapper, one Adegbite Tosin, a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University Technology who kidnapped a two year old girl at knife point from the mother at ile-Alaroje area of Ogbomoso on the 9th of august 2013.

The police said that immediately a distress call came on the 9th of August 2013 that a 2year old girl was kidnapped, a team swung into action to rescue the girl.

The commissioner said that at the scene the suspect Adegbite Tosin was found with one jack knife, two cellotape, one face cap, one cable wire, a pair of victim’s sandal and one LAUTECH I.D card.

The commissioner said that the suspect will be prosecuted.

COEafrica in an interview with the suspect, Adegbite Tosin said that he had threatened the mother of a 2year old girl with a knife asking her to release the girl to him, he said that the woman released the girl and he ran to the bush where he planned to call the parents of the girl and ask them to pay a ransom of N700,000 naira.

he said after a while the police found him in the bush and arrested him, while lamenting that he is a graduate of LAUTECH in Ogbomosho, he also said that he did it because he had no job.
