The Chrisland University, Abeokuta on 23rd November, 2019, won a trophy at the Sports fiesta of the Bells University of Technology Ota, Ogun State.
The institution sport team won the trophy amidst other private universities that participated in the tournament.
Speaking on the victory, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola in her Congratulatory message to the students for their performance, stated that it was the first trophy won since the inception of the university.
The VC said, “Congratulations to Chrisland students for their performance at the sports fiesta at the Bells University of Technology Ota involving some private universities in Nigeria”.
She stated that the students participated and won some of the tournaments such as volley ball, sprints etcetera.
Prof Babalola however thanked the participants, supporters, coach and the dynamic Director of Sports, Dr. Nick Erameh for winning the first trophy for the university .
