Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he paid his rape accuser Kathryn Mayorga $375,000 in hush money in 2010.

This revelation is coming after the Las Vegas authorities announced last month that there was not enough evidence to bring criminal charges against the Juventus striker.

The American model, Mayorga claimed the Juventus forward raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009 but Ronaldo strongly denies the claims.

She also admitted that she took $375,000 from Ronaldo back in 2010 as part of a private settlement and also signed a confidentiality agreement vowing to keep her mouth shut about the alleged incident.

Although, the case has been thrown out for lack of evidence, Mayorga has pressed on with a civil litigation.

Ronaldo’s lawyers want to have it thrown out over claims that they already settled it with a payoff and confidentiality agreement in 2010.

According to new documents acquired by TMZ, Ronaldo’s camp acknowledged the $375,000 figure. His lawyers say the payment was not an admission of guilt, but merely an effort to keep the story from public attention.

“Mr. Ronaldo paid Plaintiff the sum of $375,000 and both parties agreed to be bound by explicit confidentiality and non-disparagement obligations,” the new court docs filed by Ronaldo state.
