WINDHOEK, Namibia -                                  Namibia’s Brave Warriors aim to reach the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals and they have vow to finish off Comoros Island in the second round second-leg clash on Sunday.

Team captain Dynamo Fredericks says they plan to score the first goal on at the Sam Nujoma Stadium against the visiting Comoros Island after a 2-0-win last Friday.

“We did so well in Moroni and now we are at home. I’m glad I scored the second goal last week and we can only build on that. We are focused and the new guys are really pushing, and we want to return to Chan next year,” Fredericks said.

Fredericks added that they are responding well to coach Bobby Samaria tactics and they can only get better.

“Coach Bobby understands us and has worked with so many of us before. It is always key for the players and the coach to click and we are lucky we have that so far,” explained Fredericks.

Fredericks called on the nation to come and paint the majestic Sam Nujoma Stadium red on Sunday.

“Our people are always our backbone and we again need them to come in numbers and support us. We will go for an early go and take it from there. Surely, we are going for a good result but we are also aware of the Comoran threat,” stated Fredericks.

The overall winner will take on the winner of Madagascar versus Mozambique in the third and final round of the qualifiers.
