British out-going Prime Minister Theresa May has tendered her resignation to Queen Elizabeth II.

Britain's outgoing prime minister Theresa May gave a speech outside 10 Downing street in London on July 24, 2019 before formally tendering her resignation at Buckingham Palace.

May is set to formally resign on July 24 after taking her final Prime Minister’s questions in the House of Commons with Boris Johnson taking charge at 10 Downing Street on a mission to deliver Brexit by October 31 with or without a deal.

May resignation came after emergency of Boris John as the new Prime Minister of Britain

However, May has congratulated her successor, Johnson, as Conservative party leader, and charged him to “work together to deliver a Brexit that works for the whole UK.”
