The National Association of Computer Science Students’ (NACOSS), South West Zone on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The courtesy visit which was led by the South West zone coordinator, Comr. Raji Sobur was with a request to the VC to host their next NACOSS conference that would come up soon.
‘’We have chosen Chrisland University, Abeokuta because of the motherly roles the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Babalola always play on student’s . She is a woman of virtue and an academician who understands students very well. She has the unique gift even as VC’ the coordinator said.
However, the VC advised them that, the conference should be an innovation based as the management will look into their request ..
The NACOSS South West Zone conference was proposed by the executives to hold from 12th -15th November, 2019.
Other executives who came to pay the courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor are; Yusuf Afolami, FUNAAB President and Funmilayo Abayomi, FUNAAB Welfare Director.
