The management together with the students of Chrisland University, Abeokuta on Sunday 14th July, 2019 marked the last Sunday for the pioneer outgoing students and last formal Chapel Service for 2018/2019 academic session in the institution.

The University Vice Chancellor, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola commended the pioneer outgoing students for taking the bold step to take up admission into the institution and for staying till the end.

“You shall all be properly celebrated during the maiden convocation” the VC promised.

She however prayed and pronounced blessings on them and everyone present.

However, based on Genesis 32 in the Holy Bible, the University Chaplain, Rev. Juwon Onasanya delivered a sermon titled “The Will to Break Forth’ using the example of Jacob who said ‘I will not let you go except you bless, he said “breaking forth requires being importunate, having vision, persistence, self confidence and courage’’.

A group photograph was taken with some of the students and staff with a Chrisland-coloured cake.
