IBADAN, Oyo -                  Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has on Monday, July 15, publicly declared his assets and called on all political appointees in the state to follow suit.

Makinde, 51, an engineer by profession and an oil mogul, is worth a whopping N48billion in cash and assets.

The governor was before now, a big player in the Nigerian private sector, with extensive investments in the lucrative oil and gas industry.

Makinde’s asset declaration has generated massive reactions on social media.
