Peterside Idah, ex-Super Eagles goalkeeper has advised the Nigeria Football Federation, to relieve Gernot Rohr of his duties, adding that the German is not capable enough to take the team to greater heights.

The Port Harcourt born former goalkeeper shared his thoughts from his base in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The former Bordeaux manager, Rohr, guided Nigeria to the semifinal of the Africa Cup of Nations where they were defeated by the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

Football analysts and former players, including legendary Segun Odegbami, have been critical of the German’s tactics and capacity, especially after the Super Eagles’ embarrassing loss to debutants Madagascar.

Peterside, a famous football pundit, have now added his voice to a growing concern.

He said “With all due respect, Rohr should step aside, with all the support he got, he should be doing better, our team has all it takes to conquer Africa, but Rohr is not looking like a man who has the knowledge”.
