Nicolas Sarkozy , ex-French president is set to face trial on charges of corruption and influence peddling after his last appeal was rejected by France’s highest court.

Local media reports indicate that the former leader is likely to appear in court in the coming months.

Sarkozy, served as President of France and ex officio Co-Prince of Andorra from 16 May 2007 until 15 May 2012.
