In line with making Chrisland University a leading University, the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola(FAS), led a 14–man management of the university to Covenant University (CU) Ota, to meet with the Vice Chancellor, Prof A.A.A Atayero and the management team of CU.

The meeting which lasted for close to 4 hours discussed opportunities of collaboration, linkages, mentorship, partnership etc among the two universities.

The great achievement of covenant University in its short period of existence (16) were highlighted by the erudite Prof Babalola.

“Today CU has become a pace setter in Nigeria, they are tops in entrepreneurship, research, ICT, discipline and various other aspects. Chrisland University (just 4years) is interested in partnering with CU on her pathway to reaching great heights” she said.

The two teams interacted on several aspects including research, staff development, library (Centre for learning Resources), entrepreneurship, administration, student affairs, discipline, chaplaincy, sports among others.

Prof Babalola also lauded the visionary Bishop David Oyedepo who is the backbone for the success story of Covenant University.

In her closing speech, she hinted that there are a lot to learn and plans to strengthen the relationship. The two universities also exchanged gifts and pleasantries.
