The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, met in Jeddah today with Deputy Head of Sudan's Transitional Council General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo.

Report has it that during the meeting, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two sisterly countries in addition to latest developments at the regional arena were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; and Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Member of the Cabinet.

On the Sudanese side, the meeting was attended by the official spokesman of the Sudanese Military Council General Shamsaddin Kabbashi.

The meeting comes after the Sudanese Military ousted President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir, on 11 April 2019 and since then Sudanese citizens have remained in relative demonstrations demanding for immediate handover to a civilian.
