Two abducted FRSC officers had been released - Osun Police Command confirm

The Osun state police command had on Wednesday confirmed the release of the two Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) officers, abducted in the state on Sunday by gangsters.

The Command’s Spokesperson, DSP. Folashade Odoro who affirmed the release of the officers in Osogbo stated not how it’s been carried out.

“I can confirm to you that the two abducted persons have been released by their abductors.” she said.

The spokesperson had on Tuesday told NAN that since the incident was reported, the police had augmented efforts to see to the release of the FRSC officials and apprehend the perpetrators of the crime.

NAN, however, gathered that the FRSC officers who were released last night had since reunited with their families.
