Senegal, Iran discuss partnership in academic stratum

Senior Iranian and Senegalese officials discussed ways by which they can foster their partnership in the academic stratum.

Farajollah Talebi, director for international cooperation of Iran's Technical and Vocational University (TVU) and Mamdopaki Thiam, Senegal's Promecabile Technical and Professional Education (TPE) Centre conventionalized to foster unity and partnership between the two Iranian and Senegalese' training centres.

The duo agreed to partner in the exchange of students, and organizing joint training courses.

Iran and Senegal enjoy high-level political relations and Senegal’s President Abdoulaye Wade visited Iran formally four times in 2003, 2006, 2008, and 2009 respectively.

Also, Iran and Senegal have gone on look out for greater bilateral economic partnership.

The two nations have signed memoranda of conventionality on trade and particularly energy ties, which have yielded between Iran and Senegal.
