The Nigerian President, President Muhammadu Buhari has granted the designation of Captain Rabiu Hamisu Yadudu as the new Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The Captain's designation was declared in an official statement issued on Monday and signed by the Deputy Director Press & Public Affairs, Ministry of Transportation (Aviation), James Odaudu.
He is to take over from Engineer Saleh Dunoma, the sometime Managing Director.
The statement added that, "An ICAO / ACI accredited International Airport Professional, Captain Yadudu was until his new appointment, the Director of Airport Operations of the Authority.
"Yadudu holds professional certifications in Avionics, Airport Safety Management Systems, Airport Security Management, and others.”
Captain Yadudu assumes office with immediate effect.
