Uganda joins others to celebrate International Museums Day

Uganda also joined the rest of the world in commemorating the International Museums day with main celebration taking place at the Uganda Museum Kampala.

The event revolves around the theme, 'The Unseen Achieve of Idi Amin'.  This aided the 200 of the said 7,000 old pictures of former Uganda's president Amin, well captioned and been exhibited all over the place for visitors to see and read.

At the event, a panel discussion with the involvement of the former Culture and Health Minister Hon. Henry Kyemba alongside Prof. Edward Rugumayo, and overseen by Journalists Maurice Mugisha was held about the history of Amin.

The day was commended with gifts been handed over to icons present, as accompanied with entertainment.

The event had the presence of Ministry of Tourism Permanent Secretary, Doreen Katusiime, Henry Kyemba, Prof. Edward Rugumayo, Former Minister Aggrey Awori, First Female Minister Rhonda Kalema Nsibirwa and host of others, including politicians, former ministers, students, writers, artists and the likes.
