Hon Sugar’s burial: Family sends Soul-Stirring admiration

The household of late honourable Olatoye Temitope Sugar has sent their soul-stirring admiration to the well-wishers in lieu of their hearty contribution towards the just concluded commemoration, in honour of their late son, brother, husband, father and friend , who went on the way of his father’s on 9th of March, 2019, after been ambuscaded along Lalupon axis, Ibadan Oyo state capital.

The commemoration process in memory of Late Honourable Temitope Olatoye Sugar, which started on Monday, 29th of April, 2019 through Friday, 3rd of May had a mammoth appearance of politicians, businessmen, clerics, civil servants, traders, press men, security officers, all through well wishers across the societal environs.

It’s a worthy transition of an icon well known for his magnanimity, almsgiving, benevolence and other quirky tidings that revolve around an enigma, incomparable to anyone on earth.

The soul-stirring message reads:

“Special thanks to the Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara & members of National Assembly specifically, Hon Olusunbo Olugbemi, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu & Hon. Chris Okafor. Also, the Governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor Alao Akala, the new Governor Elect of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

 “Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Olagunju Ojo, Hon Olusegun Olaleye (Radical Brother), Hon Joshua Oyebamiji, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela, Asiwaju Yemi Aderibigbe, Dr Olatunde Amusat, Oyo state 7th Assembly led by Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu, Veteran Broadcaster, Mr. Isaac Brown and all media houses in Oyo State.

“Worthy gratitude also goes to all clergies and religious bodies that stood by us. Most importantly are the members and shepherds of Celestial Church of Christ, World-Wide. “The Theatre Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Lagelu LG & Oyo State in general, Alh. Adebisi Akande (Taye Currency), Evang. Samson Adekanmbi & Evang. Tunde Apata of the Ages band as well as distinguished members of the press.

“In the same vein, we want to assure the public that all the philanthropic gestures of Hon (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar shall continue through our foundation and all his ongoing projects shall be completed and commissioned soon.

“Also, in honour of the deceased lawmaker, a Mausoleum has been built named *Hon (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar Memorial Arcade* beside his Everlasting Hotel, along Iwo Road - Ojoo Express way, General Gas, Ibadan which currently houses Hon. Olatoye Sugar';;s tomb as well as a free Public Library, free relaxation/Game Centre and a Free Hall for students, women, children and people with disability programmes when completed.

“This piece of appreciation will be incomplete without giving due regard to the relentless efforts and sacrifices of the Burial Committee as well as that of members of Olatoye Sugar Foundation in Nigeria and abroad.

“We pray that, untimely death shall not be our portion and God shall prosper all our ways.
