The group, Save Kogi Movement ( SKm), an umbrella body of concerned Kogi people has warned Governor Yahaya Bello on his proposed illegal removal of the state Chief Judge Justice Nasir Ajana, saying the action  will plunge the state into unimaginable crisis.

The group described the action as a legislative and executive rascality by extending his impunity to the Judiciary to cover up his inept administration.

Save Kogi Movement, in a statement issued in Lokoja over the weekend and signed by Hon. Navy  Commodore Folorunsho Daniel, warned against the forceful removal of Kogi State Chief Judge, Nasiru Ajanah, urged the governor to channel his energies into positive ventures.

The Save Kogi Movement said having observed the manner in which the Chief Judge has handled the affairs of the Judiciary, passed a vote of confidence on Justice Nasiru Ajanah, and said it is passing a vote of no confidence on the governor for the lackluster manner in which he has handled the affairs of governance of the state.

SKM warned Governor Bello against further precipitating the bad situation the state is presently witnessing, having left judiciary workers in the state for 10 months without salaries.

He wondered why the Governor would have initiated thoughts of illegal removal of the Chief Judge of the state, at the time the state cannot meet its obligations to the citizenry.

He charged him to apply his idle energy into positive ventures as he prepares to pack bags and luggage from office after the November 2019 governorship election.
