It is another moment of excitement as the foremost citadel of learning, Chrisland University, is granted her full operational license on Tuesday, 2nd April, 2019 by the National University Council (NUC). The university which is known for excellent academic repute made this known in a press release made available to CEOAfrica by the school registrarMr David Ayokunle.

According to the release: “This is to inform the University Community that another feather has been added to the cap of this great institution. The NUC had granted full operational license to Chrisland University as a result of passing the Resource Verification Exercise carried out last year by NUC.”

In her steady drive to become a world class center of learning, Chrisland University has not only gotten full operational license, it has also been accredited with the nine (9)programmes presented to NUC. This feat has further propped her to introduce new academic programmes for the school.

“It may interest you to note that the University had been operating with a provincial license, this was reviewed when a team from NUC visited in August last year.

“With the approval of a full operational licence; full accreditation of the nine (9)programmes presented to NUC; introduction of new academic programmes, Chrisland University’s goal in exceeding the norm this year will only be a drop in the ocean as success rolls in from right to left,” the release added.

It is indeed a huge achievement, and another star added to the rank of the erudite vice chancellor, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola. With this great move she has placed Chrisland University in the rank and file of Universities in Africa.

Chrisland University, Abeokuta since its inception in 2015, has continued to be in the front-burner of excellence with its vision ‘to become a world –class university renowned for intellectual freedom, ethical standards, research, community service and the outstanding training of a new generation of leaders’.
