Reports from Michika town in Adamawa state have indicated that suspected Boko Haram terrorist have gained access into the town.

Residents said armed fighters attacked the town, displacing hundreds of people who ran to the surrounding bushes for safety.

Army spokesperson in the area could not be reached as at the time of filing this report.
