A two-storey building, on Friday, collapsed at Sogoye, along Bode area of the ancient Ibadan city, leaving an unspecified number of people trapped.

Rescue operations have begun search at the scene of the building .

The incident reportedly happened less than an hour ago.

The number of trapped victims could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

This incident is coming, days after a three-storey building collapsed at Ita Faji area of Lagos Island.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Jide Idris said that 20 victims were brought dead to the hospital.
