Oyo Governorship Elections – The Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi  At Ward 11 , Unit 20 , Oluyole Community Grammar School, Ibadan South West Local Government , where he  voted lost to the  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with  an overwhelming votes of 149, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled total votes of 112 in the Governorship and House of Assembly elections.

This development has caused another setback for the governor who had just lost his senatorial bid to a PDP candidate, Dr. Kola Balogun in the Presidential and National Assembly elections held on February 23.
