The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday congratulated former president Olusegun Obasanjo, on his 82nd birthday.

In a terse statement by its spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party described Obasanjo as an enigma, nation builder and a statesman by all standards.

The party prayed that God grants the former president long life in good health.

The statement reads, ”Happy 82nd birthday to one of the greatest leader in our history as a country, HE Chief Olusegun A.O Obasanjo is an enigma, a nation builder and a statesman by all standard.

“May the Almighty God grant you longevity in good health.”
