4 Uncapped players Coach Rohr should consider for Seychelles, Egypt Games

FRIENDLY MATCH-          The Pharaohs of Egyptian will be prosecuting the friendly game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria with as much as ten uncapped players.

Understandably Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rhor is looking to use that friendly and the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Seychelles as preparations for the tournament in Egypt.

A sports analyst looks at four uncapped Nigerian players who may add some quality to the team.

1. Paul Onuachu

FC Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu has notched up 14 goals in the Danish league and clearly the only reason why he has not been invited to the Nigerian national team is because he does not play in one of the top five leagues in Europe.

Onuachu is a quality player and DESERVES an invitation to the Eagles. Rohr should at least try him out in a non-competitive game as the friendly.

2. Tosin Omoyele

Former Plateau United striker Tosin Omoyele in January joined Egyptian Premier League side Nogoom and has scored once in five league matches so far.

He knows most of the Egyptian players and could provide some insight on how to overcome the 'unknown quantities' named in the Egyptian roaster.

3. Abdul Ajagun

Omonia Nicosia midfielder Abdul Ajagun is creative and should have a chance in the Super Eagles.

The many complaints of lack of creativity in the Eagles' midfield should be enough to try out new players even if for 'ordinary' friendlies with a bid to regular piece of action. The former youth international can be given a chance.

4. Chukwuka Onuwa

Still on the theme of  creativity, former MFM midfielder Chukwuka Onuwa who now plays for Enyimba FC of Aba should have a shot in the team and what better time than against Egypt.

Why such a gifted midfielder is strutting his game in the Nigeria Professional Football League and he is not considered for a national team game is almost ridiculous.
