Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, the lawmaker representing the good people of Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency in the national assembly and the Senatorial candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP) for Oyo Central, Hon (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar has received the blessings of the leaders and youths of Oyo Central Senatorial district to represent them at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

Recently, over 300 communities cutting across Oluyole, Ona-Ara, Egbeda, Lagelu and Akinyele local government areas of Oyo Central Senatorial District passed a vote of confidence on the ADP Senatorial candidate for Oyo Central, Hon. (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar as their preferred choice as Senator in February 16, 2019 elections.

Hon. Sugar as he is popularly known presently represents Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency at the green chamber. He has devoted his time as a member of the house to bring developmental strides to his constituency.

According to the one of the youth representatives, Segun Adejuwon, Hon. Sugar has at various times provided free medical care, commissioned blocks of classroom, motorized boreholes, donated transformers, vehicles, landed properties among others for his constituency.

It is in appreciation of his people-centred representation that the people of Oyo Central have given their total and absolute support to the candidature of Hon. Olatoye Temitope Sugar for senate.

Reacting to the overwhelming support demonstrated towards his candidature, Hon. Sugar thanked the people and promised not to betray their trust. He added that a vote for him was a vote for a new era for Oyo Central as he was more than ready to initiate several developmental projects to improve the living conditions of his constituents.
