Nigeria Election 2019- PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will round off his campaign in his home state of Adamawa today.

The state PDP chairman, Tahir Shehu, had recently expressed hope that Atiku would defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in Saturday polls. Supporters from the 21 local governments of the state had started converging in Yola, the state capital since yesterday while the advance party was already on ground to make necessary preparations for the political event.

Some hotels were fully booked as guests were seen arriving and checking into their rooms while restaurants and drinking joints were unusually populated with new patrons.

Atiku had aspired for the presidency five times under different political parties but this is the second time he won primary election to emerge candidate of a major party for general election.

 Abdulmumini Jada, a supporter of the PDP presidential candidate said he believed the Thursday gathering would be massive as people trooped to Yola from all parts of Adamawa to attend the event.
