Ex-Arsenal striker, Chuba Akpom is currently enjoying a new contract with his new club, PAOK in the Greek Super League.

The one-time Super Eagles invitee tallied his fifth goal in twelve outings as PAOK defeated second placed Olympiakos 3-1 yesterday, moving his club nine points clear at the top of Greek top flight.

The youngster who also provided an assist for his team's second goal has now accrued three goals and three assists in his last four starts.

This is notably, a superb improvement on the part of the 23-year-old who scored a paltry 13 goals in 96 appearances for seven different clubs prior to his moving to Greece.

Nigeria manager, Gernot Rohr could get his goggle to take notice of the player before the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Akpom will aim to increase his goal tally when he takes to the turf to face Apollon Smirnis in his side's next outing.
