Tantalizers repositions to enhance profitability

Tantalizers Plc has intensified its marketing support programmes to improve brand visibility and reposition it for profitability.
   Addressing shareholders at the company’s 16th yearly general meeting held in Lagos recently, the Chairman, Dr. Jaiye Oyedotun  explained that the company is repositioning the brand for future growth by focusing on new franchise system which involves introducing new outlet models, operational techniques and tools, retro-franchise existing stores and opening new franchise locations before the end of 2014.
    Oyedotun stated that the company will strive to make its outlets the preferred destination of choice as the organization, even as the company would continue to streamline and improve its menu, introducing new products and improving outlet designs to meet its desired products development and quality objectives.
       Specifically, the Chairman noted that the company went into partnership with the Optima Media Group which led to the brand being the food partner of the just concluded Nigeria Idol Season 4 project, and the broadcasting in Nigeria of the on-going World Cup tournament, leading to the brand being designated the “Official Food Partner OSMI/FIFA World Cup Broadcast”.
    He stated that though the company revenue dropped to N3.65 billion in 2013 due to harsh operating conditions and low disposable income, but assumed that the management is poised to reverse the trend in 2014 and in the future.
