The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Bill has been signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The bill is meant to promote economic efficiency, maintain competitiveness in the Nigerian market and protect the welfare of consumers,” a statement on Wednesday by the Presidential Liaison Officer, Senator Ita Enang, affirms.
