Chrisland University perfecting plans for College of Medicine

Management of Chrisland University, Abeokuta are perfecting arrangements for the proposed college of medicine which is due to be up and running by October.

The Founder and Chairman of Chrisland Schools, Mrs. Winifred Awosika met with the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, a consultant of the university, Prof. Olayemi Omotade and other relevant stakeholders recently in Lagos to deliberate on plans to bring the College of Medicine on board.

Mrs. Awosika reaffirmed her commitment to seeing the College of Medicine which can compare favourably with the very best around established in Chrisland University. She noted that the required facilities and infrastructures are already on ground.

On her part, the Vice Chancellor of the University stated that the best brains in the field are being assembled to ensure that the ‘Chrisland standard’ is maintained. Prof. Babalola added that other programmes will be moved eventually to the permanent site while the College of Medicine will remain in the current Campus.

Plans were also drawn up for the successful take off of operations of the College and give it a comparative advantage over other institutions while also putting it in a good position to attract patients.
