The presidential flag bearer, Mr. Atiku Abubakar of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 general elections,  has claimed to accept  defeat if the Feb. 16 elections  are adjudged free, fair and credible.

The former Vice President disclosed this on Wednesday while fielding question from Kadaria Ahmed, moderator of The Candidates, a political forum hosted by the NTA and sponsored by the McArthur Foundation.

According to him, having lost elections before, he would accept defeat if he is satisfied that electoral procedure is devoid of malpractice.
