The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna, today in what seems to be the show of love and togetherness amongst the NDA community held its 2019 NDA social activities at the NDA parade ground, Afraka, which is aimed at fostering peaceful coexistence.

Speaking at the occasion, Commandant NDA, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade expressed joy and commendation to the NDA community for seeing the need to organise an auspicious event such as this, aimed at thanking God for a sucessful 2018.

Established in 1964, the first Military University was honoured to have in attendance distinguished guests of honour, amongst which is the Decorated War Hero and Soldier Par Excellence, Air Vice Marshal AA Zannah (Rtd) who commended the NDA community for bringing back the event after five years of being dormant due to the technical issues. He further called on the Officers, Cadets and the NDA community in its entirety, to shun drug abuse, cultism and a host of other social vices which can be detrimental to the image of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The occasion featured variety of cultural display performances.
