Chrisland University, Abeokuta has recorded another milestone in its academic programmes. The institution renowned for intellectual radiance has successfully gotten National University Commission (NUC) to fully accredit all nine programmes presented for accreditation at the tail end of last year.

The accredited courses include Computer Science, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Psychology, Political Science, Biochemistry, Criminology & Security studies and Microbiology.

The institution performed incredibly well in her maiden accreditation exercise with most of the programmes recording a minimum of 84%. The breakdown is as follow: Psychology 97%, Business Administration 89.9%, Accounting 89.8%, Political Science 89.4%, Economics 87.7%, Microbiology 84.1%,Biochemistry 87.1%, Computer science 76.7% and Criminology & Security studies 72.3%.

Chrisland University whose major goal is to build positive world changers is doing her best to make sure that this is achieved which can be seen in the speed at which the school is developing. For an institution that was established barely five years ago, this is a really impressive landmark and this has been made possible through exemplary leadership of the management team led by Prof Chinedum Peace Babalola.

The understandably elated Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola expressed her delight at the development noting it is the perfect gift to mark her one year anniversary as VC of the institution.

Prof. Babalola hinted that Chrisland University has several lofty targets to accomplish in 2019 calendar year as the institution is determined to groom the next generation of leaders in the country. She added that already a creative mind has been instilled in the students as a number of them already developed innovations to address certain societal challenges. According to her, nurturing the students for a life of entrepreneurship is the way forward and that is what the institution is doing.
