As the 2019 Nigeria presidential election draw nearer, the two major leading candidates,  President Buhari of All Progressive Congress (APC) and Former Vice President , Alhaji Atiku of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  are all over the country wooing voters.

 A video showing Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari slumping during the presidential campaign rally in Lokoja, Kogi State today has gone viral with many commentators raising concerns as regards the president’s fitness for the 2019 political campaigns.

Many supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have seized the opportunity of the slip to call on the president to abandon his quest for a second term.

In a tweet posted by Reno Omokri, former aide of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, he stated:

”MUST WATCH: President@MBuhari collapsing today in Lokoja. WATCH and SHARE Not that I am happy. I pity the man. He belongs in a retirement home, not in the Presidency. This man is not healthy. Those who love him should tell him to #ReturnToDaura.”
