Ahead of the 2019 general elections, MD of CEOAfrica, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor has issued a note of caution to youths across the country to shun being used as political thugs.

He gave the warning on Friday in Ibadan. He noted that credible elections are possible only in an atmosphere of peace.

According to him, thuggery and violence was not in the interest of the Nigeria youths and the country as a whole.

Prince Cletus added that youths should stay clear of politicians asking them to take up arms to disrupt the election process or seek unjust advantage. He encourage youths to hold their leaders accountable and should carefully scrutinize their promises to ensure they are achievable and not just bogus promises.

The media guru also warned against voter apathy. He called on the youths and all Nigerians to go out and cast their votes on the election days and not sit back and expect good leaders to emerge automatically.
