The Minister of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPSS), Jesus Maiato, said on Thursday in Luanda that specific importance will be attached to dialogue with the business sector, professional association and trade union in the improvement of the profile with the aim of creating programs that are better suited to the demands of the labor market.

Maiato, who was speaking at the closing ceremony of the 2018 training cycle, of the training units supervised by the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP), added that it will also be privileged to sign protocols for professional internships, to facilitate the absorption and insertion of young people into the employment market.

The Minister spoke on the other hand of the importance of Presidential Decrees No. 226/18, of 27 September, which approves a new Career Statute for Agents of the National System of Employment and Professional Training and nº 283/18 of 28 December , which approves their respective remuneration status.

According to the person in charge, the approval of this career represents an important landmark for the areas of employment and vocational training, since it integrates the specialists of employment in the special regime; it adjusts the career to the regime of the agents of the education and establishes the equivalent remunerator regime.
